MinterEllison promotes 161

Following its appointment of 12 new partners, one of Australia’s biggest firms has elevated 161 individuals to more senior positions across its national offices.

MinterEllison has named 161 senior promotions across its legal, consulting and business operations teams.

The appointments include 13 new special counsel, one senior director, five directors, 52 senior associates, six senior managers, three managers, and 81 associates.

This news follows the firm’s recent appointment of 12 new partners across its six Australian offices, spanning its energy and resources, corporate, projects, workplace, infrastructure, and consulting practices, as reported earlier this week.

In a statement, the national law firm stated this round of promotions reinforces its commitment to “developing its future leaders” and enhancing the services it delivers to clients.

The firm’s new special counsel: Chris Hu, Prayas Pradhan, Rebecca Barbour, Silvino Gomes, Aroha Greenwood, Daniel Kornberg, Daniel Shaw, Elouise Blunt, Natalie Byrne, Carrie Flinkier, Tom Kearney, Kieran McAlpine, and Luke Trimarchi.

Craig Said has been appointed as the new senior director, while Sam Burrett, Deanne Gedge, Hannah Kane, Kerwin Tan, and Libby Zhang have been promoted to director roles.

The newly appointed senior managers are Eliot Bassili, Sandhya Furnivall, Stephanie Hood, James Confessore, Peter Domine, and Katrina Tognazzi. Additionally, Sofia Cesário, Gareth Veitch, and Alana Hayton have been promoted to managers.

Within Community & Pro Bono, Emma Cuelho contributes her expertise. The consulting solutions group comprises Emma Bannister, Hannah Choi, Poppy Donovan, Olivia Fairbank, Marilee Hou, Alice Itasheva, Marie Kambouroglou, Kelsey Krakauer, Amanda Martin, Ben Morrison, Georgette Newcombe-Hobby, Jaime Parker, Megan Ramcharan, Helly Soni, Eunice Tang, Ella Thomas, Saxon Ward, and Eliza Wentworth.
