National law firm Holding Redlich has appointed four new partners, four new special counsel, 15 new senior associates, and one associate, effective 1 July.
Holding Redlich has promoted 24 lawyers to more senior positions, including four to its partnership, an outcome the firm said reflects its “commitment to internal growth and recognition”.
The news comes after the firm added two partners to its planning and environment practice in the same month and the addition of three partners to its corporate and construction practices in May.
The newly promoted partners include Jeanne Vallade (corporate and commercial), Rob Lawson (dispute resolution and litigation), Grace Wimberley (property, planning, and development), and Samantha Gou (property, planning, and development).
These internal promotions follow the recent appointment of six lateral partners – Ben Constance, Dado Hrustanpasic, Jonathan Usher, Wendy Evans, Andrew Iser, and Louise Hogg – whom will officially join the partnership on 1 July.
In addition to the new partners, four lawyers have been promoted to special counsel and 15 to senior associate, with Katie Underwood also appointed as an associate in the Brisbane office.

Speaking on this round of promotions, national managing partner Troy Lewis stated how the appointments reflect both the individual achievements of each lawyer and the firm’s broader focus on strategic growth and leadership development.
“All the lawyers promoted, and especially our new partners Jeanne, Rob, Grace, and Samantha, have demonstrated a track record of delivering exceptional outcomes for clients, and their progression supports the firm’s growth strategy across key sectors nationally,” Lewis said.
“These appointments also reflect our ongoing commitment to nurturing talented lawyers into future leaders, supported by a range of career development programs, training and professional support tailored to each lawyers’ needs.”
