Australian BigLaw firm Clayton Utz has unveiled a sweeping promotion round, elevating 75 lawyers and professionals across five offices.

Clayton Utz has unveiled a major promotion round, elevating 75 lawyers and professionals across its Australian offices as it strengthens its legal, data intelligence, and business services capabilities.

The promotion round includes 21 new special counsel, 42 senior associates, four appointments across the firm’s data intelligence team, and eight promotions within its business advisory services division.

 
 

This news comes after the firm appointed five lawyers to its partnership in mid-June.

The BigLaw firm’s latest partnership cohort spans five offices across Australia, with appointments distributed across Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Canberra, and Perth.

Speaking about this round of promotion, Emma Covacevich, chief executive partner of Clayton Utz, said the cohort reflects a group of standout lawyers and professionals whose technical strength, leadership, and trusted advice have played a key role in driving the firm’s success.

“This year’s senior promotions are a group of exceptional lawyers and professionals across both our legal and Business Advisory Services teams,” Covacevich said.
