Thomsons Lawyers has advised the acquisition of 70 per cent of shares of infrastructure solutions provider Frontline Systems Australia Pty Ltd (Frontline) by listed Japanese global trading firm NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com).

NTT Com will integrate Frontline's server-related technologies with its network-integration, software-development and maintenance capabilities.

Thomsons acted for Frontline, which has data centres, warehousing and sales operations in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide and Singapore, and is forecasting sales revenue of $277 million this financial year.

Lead partner Dan Kramer and senior associate Lucinda Girdlestone led the Thomson team of lawyers.

Baker & McKenzie, Deloitte, PwC and Mercer were also involved in the transaction.

We're evolving — and so should your insights. Heads up — Lawyers Weekly is going premium from 1 May for just $5 a month. Stay informed without missing a beat. More information coming soon.
