Deal significance: The acquisition of Sky Technologies by Kony brings together Sky’s enterprise expertise and large base of SAP mobile customers and Kony’s packaged mobile applications and application management solutions, which will simplify enterprise mobility and benefit businesses through highly-efficient mobile technologies.

Sky Technologies is a mobile enterprise applications company that has deployed mobility projects to SAP customers in more than 35 countries from its offices in Australia, the US and the UK. Kony is a developer of customisable pre-built apps that give companies the ability to build apps and to deploy and manage them everywhere.

 “This deal highlights that Australian technology companies continue to be highly sought after in the global marketplace,” said Dodge.
