Two firms have advised on Trump Acquisition, LLC’s deal to rebrand and redevelop an integrated Bali resort.

Deal: A Bali resort has come to an agreement with Trump Acquisition, LLC for it to be rebranded and redeveloped as the Trump Bali Resort.

Key Players: The Baker & McKenzie team was made up of partner Graeme Dickson and associate Kerrie Duong.

Deal Significance: Trump Acquisition LLC’s principal is Donald Trump, and this deal represents Trump’s first flag in Asia.

The current resort owner’s principal is Hary Tanoesoedibjo – one of Indonesia’s most prominent businessmen.

When it reopens under Trump’s management, the integrated resort, which is located on Bali’s scenic coast, will be redeveloped to include a luxury six-star hotel, branded residences, apartments and a world-class beach club, with the potential inclusion of additional complimentary amenities and features.
