Clean Energy makes largest new property investment

Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) has made a $110 million equity investment in the Investa Commercial Property Fund.

Deal significance: CEFC’s investment in the Investa Commercial Property Fund is the largest investment in new property that the corporation has made to date.

HSF has advised CEFC on a number of transactions, including its EG Fund Management and Foresight Group investment commitments.

“Congratulations to CEFC on this important investment, which is consistent with its goals to support green energy initiatives in the office market,” Ms Smedley said.

“It is pleasing to see, and be part of, the increasing demand for investments in the renewable and clean energy sector, which is being driven both by investors and fund managers.”
