Bringing the experience she gained in London with Aon and the PI/Commercial Litigation group at Barlow, Lyde & Gilbert, Baxter has been working as a senior associate for Ebsworth & Ebsworth since August 2000. Her principal focus is in professional indemnity litigation, specialising in financial institutions insured through the London market.
Suttie has extensive experience in property and financial law, with particular expertise representing financiers, banks and funders and advising commercial clients on their financing and fund raising arrangements.
Catchpoole joins the firm’s Melbourne office as a commercial partner in the projects area. He is a projects and infrastructure expert with significant experience, including alternative procurement strategies for major projects. Partner Theo Kalyvas welcomed the appointment as “significant in developing the firm’s expansion and growth in the area of major projects and infrastructure both locally and nationally”.
The firm also appointed five senior associates: Leissa Mikkelsen (insurance); Clare Mulholland (building and construction law, dispute resolution); Mark Newton (insurance); Andrea Rawson (health sector) and Mark Wiemers (workers’ compensation, self insurance, public and product liability, professional indemnity, workplace health and safety, and dust diseases).
