Reporting on the first directions hearing for the sexual harassment suit, The Sydney Morning Herald's Kate Lahey described what was a fight for front row in a packed courtroom.
According to Lahey, a handwritten note was left by Fraser-Kirk's spokesman Anthony McClellan on the four seats in the front row of the courtroom, declaring the seats "reserved" for Fraser-Kirk and her team.
Completely disregarding the note, members of the David Jones team removed the note and sat down, leaving just one seat for Fraser-Kirk, much to the outrage of McClellan who was concerned that she would have to sit through the hearing alone.
According to Crikey, for the remainder of the hearing, Fraser-Kirk's family were stuck in the standing room area while Fraser-Kirk endured the hearing seated next to her opponents.
Awkward, to say the least.
Folklaw would, however, like to point out that it was only a directions hearing and she probably didn't need to be there anyway.
