AFTER LONDON’S financial market recovered from the initial shock of the terrorist attacks on the city last week, it was soon business as usual. As the city’s mayor Ken Livingstone said following the attacks, Londoners are a resilient lot.

 
 

Livingstone said that even following the attack on London, people will arrive at the city from around the country and the rest of the world to become Londoners, to fulfil their dreams and their potential. London is a city in which people can do this, Livingstone seemed to suggest. Most will agree that the recent attacks will do little to deter visitors and those wanting to make a life there.

London has for decades been an attractive destination for professionals from Australia. All ages are drawn to the city by the promise of great experiences. In our London Report on page 16 this week, Lawyers Weekly looks at the London experience for our lawyers.
