ALLENS ARTHUR ROBINSON and Melbourne firm Davies Collison Cave have been recognised as the top firms in trademark and copyright work in an international poll conducted by Managing Intellectual Property. The ranking was established by feedback and nominations from more than 4,000 IP practitioners worldwide. Head of Allens’ IP practice group, Jim Dwyer, said the poll considered both law firms and specialist trademark attorney practices. The fact that such a large number of practitioners from around the world were surveyed was a significant commendation of the group, he said.
“Our trademark and copyright practice continues to grow and we have a strong mix of international and Australian-based clients,” Dwyer said. “We have always had a very strong involvement with our international clients, and lawyers and patent attorneys in many countries, so we see the award as a significant endorsement of our practitioners in this area.”
