Last week, rumours circulated the web via Firm Spy that G+T managing partner Danny Gilbert had given a speech to his staff confirming that the firm would open in Melbourne.
When Lawyers Weekly contacted G+T about the plans, a spokesperson did not deny the rumour of a new office, but could not confirm it either.
The rumoured plans for a new office comes after a BRW report in early October that G+T has implemented a retainer arrangement with Telstra to cover the delivery of extensive legal services - the bulk of which could be carried out in Melbourne.
