Ivan Orola has been named as HopgoodGanim’s newest special counsel, as the firm looks to bolster its real estate practice.

Mr Orola brings expertise across the full-range of commercial property services, including acquisitions and disposals, as well as expertise in community title schemes, and retail, commercial and industrial leasing, a statement from the firm said.

“With a wide-variety of past clients which includes banks, airports, leisure operators, shopping centre owners and property developers, Ivan is well-placed to advise HopgoodGanim’s current clients,” the statement said.

“Ivan comes to HopgoodGanim Lawyers with a wealth of experience including most recently, at Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC) where he held a Legal Advisor role.”

HopgoodGanim partner Don Battams congratulated Mr Orola on his appointment, saying his expertise will bring depth to the firm.

“Ivan’s arrival will assist in maintaining our reputation as a full-service property firm with the team, size and experience to deliver on any project,” Mr Battams said.
