Sina Zevari (pictured) has joined Emplawyer, coming across from Workdynamic Australia. Prior to this, he was a principal at DWF and associate director at Australian Business Lawyers and Advisors.
The appointment will strengthen the boutique employer-focused employment law practice’s “already strong law team”, the firm said in a statement.
Zevari brings more than 17 years of expertise in contentious and non-contentious employment matters across a broad range of industry sectors, the firm went on.
He has been a Law Society of NSW accredited specialist in employment and industrial law since 2013.
Emplawyer managing principal Michelle Dawson – who won the employment category at the 2023 Partner of the Year Awards – said that she is “incredibly excited and proud” to once again be working with Zevari and that his arrival at Emplawyer is “remarkable, as it places Emplawyer in the unique position of being a boutique employment law firm with not one, but two accredited specialists in employment law”.
This is something, she declared, as a “rarity and a real point of difference”.
Dawson went on to say that she and Emplawyer are “thrilled” with this next phase of continued growth, which is strategically aligned with Emplawyer’s “ongoing commitment to provide unrivalled expertise, value and service in the provision of practical legal support and employment law solutions to its employer clients” – public and private, large, and small, Australia-wide.
In late 2023, Dawson appeared on The Boutique Lawyer Show to discuss the importance of relatability for small-firm owners and how more firms must be “outside of the square” to improve socioeconomic diversity.
