Paige Caldwell (pictured) has joined Creevey Horrell Lawyers as a solicitor at their Roma office in the Maranoa region of Southwest Queensland.

Combining professional legal qualifications with a rural upbringing – having grown up on a beef grazing property in the region – she brings valuable local insight to her role.

Prior to joining Creevey Horrell, she worked as a solicitor at Suthers Taylor, which is also based in Roma.

Caldwell graduated from Bond University with a bachelor of laws (Honours First Class) and a bachelor of business, and she holds a graduate diploma in legal practice.

Creevey Horrell principal Dan Creevey said that Caldwell’s appointment reflects the firm’s ongoing commitment to supporting rural and regional communities across Queensland, highlighting her passion for these areas.

“Paige comes from a rural background, having grown up on her family’s beef grazing property at Bell in the Western Downs region, and she is well placed to deliver accessible, high-quality legal services tailored to the needs of rural clients and industries,” Creevey said.

“Her mix of legal expertise and real-world experience allows her to offer advice that is both practical and commercially sound.”

Creevey added: “While Paige will have a strong focus on serving those in the Roma and Chinchilla regions, her role is a key part of the firm’s strategic commitment to expanding legal support throughout regional Queensland.”

Speaking about her new role, Caldwell expressed enthusiasm for continuing her commitment to delivering practical legal advice tailored to rural clients and supporting regional communities, a cause she is deeply passionate about.

“I am looking forward to the challenges and opportunities with the team at Creevey Horrell Lawyers and continuing to provide practical advice and solutions for rural clients and supporting regional communities,” Caldwell said.

“My passion is to assist rural and regional businesses and individuals with local professional services, and as such, I am proud to be a lawyer based in Roma.”

In addition to her legal work, Caldwell is actively involved in community initiatives and currently serves as chairperson of the Queensland Country Life Showgirl Awards, a program dedicated to fostering leadership skills among young women in rural Queensland.

This news comes shortly after the firm promoted three of its lawyers earlier this month, including elevations to principal, special counsel, and associate positions.
