Most of the greedy lawyers Folklaw hears about tend to buy themselves extravagant gifts like ridiculously large diamond rings for their other halves, fast cars which they never have time to drive, or sometimes they just claim they're just too busy to pay tax or embezzle funds to get their hands on some basketball tickets.

However, one greedy but sensible Illinois lawyer has used the $466,000 he took from his law firm's account to do some housekeeping.

As the ABA Journal reports, Chicago lawyer Steven Gustafson used the almost half a million dollars he stole from his law firm to remodel his home bathroom for $18,000, pay his $9,000 property tax bill and settle his secretary's dental bill (how nice of him).

Folklaw really hopes Gustafson is happy with the design of his new bathroom, although he'll be sitting on a very different kind of throne when he serves a 42-month prison term.

Gustafson was last month found guilty and sentenced to jail, has been disbarred, and owes a mere $1.3 million civil judgment to his former law partners.
