Thomsons poaches funds specialist

Thomsons Lawyers has strengthened its funds management practice in Brisbane with the hire of Chris Mee as a special counsel.

Mee has more than 12 years' specialist experience and was previously a partner at McMahon Clarke.

He is experienced in AFS licence applications, managed investment scheme structuring, preparation of scheme documents for registered and unregistered funds, preparation of product disclosure statements and other regulated documents, ongoing scheme compliance and ASIC liaison.
