Talbot Olivier Lawyers has announced the appointments of senior associate Amanda Kailis and lawyers Katherine Dowling and Marnus Smalberger.
Kailis (picture) joins the firm’s commercial litigation team. Her areas of practice include property and contractual disputes; fraud and asset tracing; insolvency; regulatory compliance and directors’ duties.
Kailis previously worked in the criminal assets branch of the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions and for Australian and international law firms practising in commercial litigation and dispute resolution.
Dowling joins the firm’s criminal law team. Prior to joining Talbot Olivier, she practised at Norton Rose Australia and then joined Perth-based law firm Kitto & Kitto, working primarily on criminal and civil litigation matters.
Smalberger joins Talbot Olivier’s wills, estate planning and administration team. Previously Smalberger worked at a boutique law firm where he was involved in civil and commercial litigation, and later joined a mid-tier law firm practising in their estate planning and administration department.
