GADENS Sydney has hired a former HerbertGeer partner to its construction team.

Doron Rivlin, who moves across with HerbertGeer colleagues, senior associate Marcus Graham and lawyer Richard Bullock, joins three other partners in the firm's construction team.

The new recruit has experience in matters related to airports, sporting facilities, defence, property, educational facilities, mining, hydro-electric and chemical facilities, water treatment plants, and transport, his new firm said.

Rivlin's clients include developers, contractors, professional consultants and private clients.

Rivlin is experienced at contract preparation and all forms of commercial dispute resolution including litigation, arbitration, mediation and adjudication. He is an accredited adjudicator under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act, bringing to three the number of Gadens partners who are accredited adjudicators under the Act.

Lead Gadens construction partner, Scott Laycock welcomed Rivlin and his team. He said

the appointments will help ensure the firm can service large and small scale transaction and disputes.
