Mr Blake has more than 17 years' experience advising across all areas of employment law, including industrial relations, enterprise agreements, termination of employment, employment contracts, anti-discrimination and work health and safety.
He is also an experienced litigator and strategist, acting on a number of high-profile cases over the years, including matters involving workplace determinations, industrial action, disclosure of confidential information and union coverage.
Minter Ellison’s human resources and industrial relations head Jim Fox said Mr Blake's appointment “makes great strategic sense” and “Karl's portfolio of experience will add momentum to our growth trajectory”.
Minter Ellison recently appointed oil and gas lawyer John King to their Perth team and property lawyer Adrian Rich to their Brisbane team.
