International law firm Holman Fenwick Willan has appointed a special counsel to its Australian construction and projects practice.
David Ulbrick (pictured) has joined HRW’s Perth office as special counsel from Corrs Chambers Westgarth, where he held the same position.

Mr Ulbrick specialises in construction, particularly in the resources sector, and has experience advising on all aspects of project delivery and disputes work.
He has qualifications in civil engineering and has worked on a number of construction sites, as well as with a boutique marine engineering firm.
Mr Ulbrick also lectures in the Construction Law Masters programme at the University of Melbourne.
In April this year, Holman Fenwick Willan appointed Marcus Bowman as its new managing partner.
