A partner and a senior associate have joined Maddocks’ construction and projects practice in Melbourne from another national firm.
Partner Andrew Pitney (pictured) and senior associate Louisa Nuccitelli have both joined Maddocks from HWL Ebsworth.

Mr Pitney has more than 25 years’ experience advising private sector and public sector clients on infrastructure project delivery, outsourcing and procurement, and utilities advisory.
He has advised on seven public private partnership projects in the past two years, and has also recently worked on the National Broadband Network, City Link, EastLink and the Adelaide Desalination Plant.
Maddocks partner and practice group head Paul Woods said Mr Pitney’s appointment would bolster the firm’s construction and projects team and its offering to infrastructure clients.
“Very few lawyers have the track record Andrew has in this field,” Mr Wood said.
“Andrew has advised consortia and contractors on game-changing projects and his breadth of experience and expertise will be of huge value to our clients.”
At the end of 2015, Maddocks appointed partner Shaun Temby from Norton Rose Fulbright.
