Property lawyer Mark Khoo will start with Salvos Legal on 30 January, ending a six-year stint with Minters.
Khoo joined Salvos Legal’s advisory committee last year, and prior to joining Minters was a property lawyer at Corrs Chambers Westgarth.
Michael Anglin, formerly of the Commonwealth Government, will also be joining the firm as a partner in the Salvos Legal Humanitarian Queensland offices.
The respective appointments of Khoo and Anglin are part of a widespread recruitment drive by Salvos Legal.
The firm also welcomes several new associates, including Ee-Von Lok, formerly a volunteer at Salvos Legal, in a residential and commercial conveyancing role; Amelia Hew, formerly of Matthews Folbigg, as a commercial property lawyer; and Matthew Wright, formerly of Westpac, in a commercial property role.
