Rodney Richard brings to the firm more than 20 years’ experience in Australian accounting and law firms, acting for corporate clients of varying size and industry as well as professional services and high-net-worth individuals.

Richard was previously a tax partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he established and led the Melbourne office’s stamp duty advisory practice. He was also formerly a partner at Blake Dawson Waldron, working in their banking and finance and corporate and commercial groups.

His extensive experience includes financial transactions, stamp duty, property tax, policies and practices, tax compliance, mergers and acquisitions and debt restructuring.

Mark Payne is experienced across a range of tax, superannuation and financial services areas, including corporate transactions, reconstructions, demergers and corporate reorganisations, private equity funds, offshore hedge funds, mergers and acquisitions and private wealth.

Payne joins the firm from Goldman Sachs JBWere, where he was a director in the private wealth group. His previous experience includes working in the taxation services area of KPMG, with specialist tax firm Greenwoods & Freehills and with London law firm SJ Berwin.
