Law firm Clayton Utz has welcomed former senior ATO litigator Rimma Miller to its Sydney office in a move to bolster the firm’s tax practice.
Clayton Utz has recruited Rimma Miller as a partner in a bid to strengthen the firm’s national tax practice amid an “unprecedented” regulatory environment.
“Clients are facing unprecedented levels of regulatory focus and increasingly sophisticated revenue authority activity. Rimma’s depth of experience – particularly her rare combination of ATO and private practice expertise – will be invaluable to our clients navigating this environment.”
Miller brings 25 years of experience spanning tax disputes, advisory, and strategic risk management to Clayton Utz. She has represented large corporate entities across industries, including resources, energy, technology, natural sciences, and financial services.
Previously, Miller worked at MinterEllison for 11 years, most recently as a tax controversy partner. She also spent 12 years with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) as a senior litigator, giving her a unique perspective on regulatory strategy, dispute management, and technical interpretation.
She is set to join the firm’s Sydney office in late March.
