Deal significance: The Danish-based Grundfos expects to merge the resources of BKB Pumps & Tanks with its Australian Commercial Building Services business to create a new entity with national reach and industry leading capabilities and resources. The move is expected to further strengthen Grundfos’ position in the Australian commercial buildings market. Troiano said that the transaction demonstrated keen interest by foreign companies in Australian businesses with strong strategic benefits.
