Deal: Sealink’s initial public offering (IPO)

Area: Equity capital markets

Value: The amount raised was $16.5 million (15,000,000 new shares at an offer price of $1.10 per share); with the market capitalisation of the company after the capital raising being $77 million

Key players: Minter Ellison’s team included partner Louisa McClurg (pictured), consultant Neville Martin, senior associate Jackie Su and lawyer Lisa Muffatti, all of whom are based in the firm’s Adelaide office.

Deal significance: SeaLink Travel Group has successfully completed its IPO of 15,000,000 new shares at an offer price of $1.10 per share. SeaLink operates in the tourism and transport sectors with operations in key markets under the brands SeaLink and Captain Cook Cruises. Minters partner Louisa McClurg commented: "We are very proud to see SeaLink successfully listed on the Australian Stock Exchange and to have been legal advisers to the organisation for over 20 years.”
