Partner Troy Lewis has taken to the Queensland Building Industry Fairness Reforms Implementation and Evaluation Panel, which has been designed to evaluate the introduction of new laws for the state's building industry.

In his new role, Mr Lewis is part of a four-person team who will work alongside the building industry and government to monitor the implementation of the Building Industry Fairness legislation.

“These laws represent a significant milestone for the Queensland building industry and it is essential they are rolled out effectively,” Mr Lewis said, commenting on his new role.

“This panel has been tasked with the important role of assessing the staged implementation of the legislation and assessing and reporting back on how it is tracking.”
