Senior solicitor takes to Shine

Shine Lawyers has appointed a new senior solicitor, who will take to the firm's transport law department.

Sara Kaurin has been hired for the role, joining Shine Lawyers from Shine Corporate Subsidiary, Bradley Bayly Legal.

 
 

Ms Kaurin has spent the past four and a half years practising as a plaintiff litigation specialist.

According to a statement from Shine, Ms Kaurin grew up in Germany and did a semester of exchange in Berlin in her final year of university. She’s currently doing her Masters of Law at the University of Melbourne and will practice out of Shine Lawyers’ Melbourne office from January. She is currently based in Perth and will be relocating for the role in Shine's transport division.

According to her profile on the Bradley Bayly Legal website, Ms Kaurin has vast experience advising on motor vehicle accidents, workers' compensation claims, public liability matters and total and permanent disability (TPD) claims.

Emma Musgrave (née Ryan) is the managing editor, professional services at Momentum Media.

Emma has worked for Momentum Media since 2015, including five years spent as the editor of the company's legal brand - Lawyers Weekly. Throughout her time at Momentum, she has been responsible for breaking some of the biggest stories in corporate Australia. In addition, she has produced exclusive multimedia and event content related to the company's respective brands and audiences. 

Prior to joining Momentum Media, Emma worked in breakfast radio, delivering news to the Central West region of NSW, before taking on a radio journalist role at Southern Cross Austereo, based in Townsville, North Queensland.

She holds a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) degree from Charles Sturt University.
