“He is a proven, cross-border, cross-practice operator on major corporate matters. His digital economy/telecoms and corporate carve-out expertise will build on existing strengths and considerably enhance our offering.

“Andrew’s appointment is a further demonstration of our ongoing investment in the growth of our Australian corporate team, having hired Greg Golding, Rob Hanley, Ben Landau and Andrew and promoted Anita Choi, Lynda Tully and Rebecca Cope to the partnership this year. I expect this growth to continue.”

Commenting on his new role, Mr Craig said: There are significant opportunities in the digital space in Australia, especially in the financial services and private equity sectors”.

“Ashurst is a fantastic platform from which to work in Australia given its international reach. Im looking forward to working with its highly talented team of practitioners to grow the digital economy business with existing and potential clients that are increasingly focused on investments in this area.”
