Deal: Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF) advised Potentia Capital on the acquisition of the majority stake in Education Horizons Group Limited (EHG).

Key players: HSF’s team was led by partner Damien Hazard and assisted by senior associate Tom Hoare and solicitor Jack McDonell.
Deal significance: HSF advised Potentia on the acquisition of EHG stakes, which is an Australia EdTech holdings company founded three years ago through a formalised partnership between longstanding education software companies, SEQTA Software and Synergetic Management Systems.
