Deal: Roborigger has secured a series A capital raise with the assistance of Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF).

 
 

Value: Undisclosed.

Area: Venture capital.

Key players: The team was led by partner Peter Dunne and consultant Elizabeth Henderson.

Deal significance: Roborigger will use funding to build its capability for international growth as it continues to receive interests from top global companies in construction, oil and gas, renewable energy, port operations and mining.

Mr Dunne said: “Roborigger is a great example of the importance of embracing innovation and technology in established industries, and the role of Australian companies in driving modernisation in this area.

“We have enjoyed working with Roborigger founder Derick Markwell and being part of his company’s journey.”
