Based in Melbourne, the firm said, Ms Castle “advises project sponsors, lenders, borrowers, subcontractors and government authorities on construction and infrastructure projects including public-private partnerships and other privately financed arrangements”.
“These 39 promotions across 22 offices and nine global practices demonstrate how truly global and diverse White & Case is,” said White & Case chair Hugh Verrier.
“These lawyers have achieved success in their careers because they demonstrate exceptional ability, a consistent dedication to providing our clients with the highest standards of service and the commitment and energy to drive our Firm forward.”
The promotions are effective from 1 January 2021.
In addition to these internal promotions, White & Case has hired six counsel and 10 local partners in 2020, including Tim Neilson, Dan Paolini and Nicholas Rouse as counsel in Melbourne.
At White & Case, the firm said in a statement, “counsel is a role for senior lawyers with significant experience in a particular practice area. The title is used across the firm, in all offices, as an alternative career path to partnership but does not preclude consideration for promotion to partner”.
