Deal: Piper Alderman has advised Brandwood CKC on its merger with international life sciences consultancy, PharmaLex Group.

Key players: The Piper Alderman team was led by partner Lis Boyce and associate Bahar Agar. The team assisted the board and shareholders of Brandwood CKC with negotiating and implementing the transaction documents and planning for post-completion operations. 

Also providing support were partner Tim Capelin, who advised on employment aspects of the deal, and senior associate Samantha Gou, who advised on leasing negotiations.

Deal significance: According to Brandwood CKC’s statement, the merger allows Brandwood CKC to expand the range and geographical reach of services they can provide to their clients and support PharmaLex by providing global expertise in the medical device and diagnostic sectors.
