Deal significance: Established in memory of the late Alex “Chumpy” Pullin, the foundation aims to raise funds to support eligible organisations with a focus on providing financial assistance and development opportunities to snowboarders.
The foundation’s mission will be to address the barriers experienced by financially and socially disadvantaged individuals wanting to progress in the sport to become world-class athletes, who would not have the opportunity to do so otherwise.
Mr Fittler and Ms Lathlean commented: “It has been a privilege to assist with the establishment of the foundation and allow for Chumpy’s legacy to be honoured in this way.”
