Deal: Private equity investment firm Archer Capital has sold motor sport entertainment services company V8 Supercars Holdings Pty Ltd to Racing Australia Consolidated Enterprises Ltd, a consortium of Australian private investors.
Area: Corporate.
Value: Undisclosed.
Key players: The JWS team was led by partner Andrew Williams, who was supported by senior associate Andrew Turner, associate Nathan Ricardo and law graduate Jared McLachlan, as well as partners David Beckett, Andreas Piesiewicz, Ruveni Kelleher and Ravi de Fonseka, senior associates David Li and Stanley Yu, and associate Megan Prouatt.
Deal significance: Speaking about the transaction, Mr Williams said: “We were uniquely positioned to assist Archer Capital in exiting its Supercars business due to our long-term working relationship with both organisations.
“Our deep understanding of the business and structure allowed us to streamline risk identification and resolution throughout the deal process, helping Archer Capital achieve a smooth and clean exit from this long-term investment.”
