Mr Robinson is an experienced competition and economic regulation lawyer, who joins from Herbert Smith Freehills. He has significant experience in merger clearances and authorisations, access and infrastructure regulation, and ACCC investigations and enforcement. He advises clients on competition and regulatory matters across a number of sectors, including energy, transport, infrastructure, and technology, media and telecommunications.

Head of the firm’s corporate and commercial team, Duncan Hall, said the appointments further strengthened the firm’s Sydney team.

“They are talented lawyers who will bring significant experience and expertise in areas of importance to our clients. We are really pleased to welcome them to Maddocks,” he said.
