Financial services partner joins Piper Alderman
National law firm Piper Alderman has welcomed Karen Fairbairn as a partner in the national financial services and fintech team.
Ms Fairbairn’s 30-year career in the financial services sector has garnered her expertise in various areas, including domestic and international finance transactions, distressed debt transactions, regulation, restructuring, corporate governance, company secretarial matters, commercial agreements and specialist services in regard to the Personal Property Securities Act.

She has also held roles with global firms in Australia, including an in-house role with Westpac.
Ms Fairbairn commented on her decision by praising Piper Alderman as a “collaborative and innovative firm” that services several different clients in the financial services sector.
