Mr Webb has nine years of experience in all forms of advisory and transactional work, and he has significant experience advising clients on mixed-use, residential and commercial property developments.

Mr Webb’s practice encompasses property acquisitions and disposals, drafting and negotiating contracts, property due diligence, structured titling advice, off-the-plan sales and large-scale project conveyancing, and property development in all asset classes.

His clients range from property developers, private clients, owners corporations and bodies corporate.

Mr Webb will report to Rhett Oliver, national head of property and development. Mr Oliver said the team’s end-to-end property development offering is in a strong growth phase across the eastern seaboard, and the key to that is the ability to attract top talent in the field.

“Brisbane is Australia’s fastest growing capital city and while challenges remain in the property market there, it will continue to offer opportunities.

“Stephen is an accomplished, well-connected property development lawyer in Brisbane and we’re very excited about the skills, expertise and network he brings to the team,” said Mr Oliver.

The property and development team advises some of Australia’s largest private developers and corporate clients, noted the firm.

Mr Webb commented: “I am delighted to be joining a team that has such a strong reputation for its property development expertise in the market.”

Mr Webb’s appointment follows the recent announcement of special counsel David Chong to the practice’s insurance team and the announcement in June of 11 senior promotions.
