Piper Alderman recruits Melbourne partner
Piper Alderman has hired a new Melbourne-based partner who joins from Maddocks.
Ben McLeod has joined Piper Alderman as a partner within the firm’s projects, infrastructure and construction practice. He joins Piper Alderman from Maddocks, where he was a special counsel in the firm’s construction team.

Mr McLeod brings an extensive background in advising clients across a range of industries, including transport, utilities, property development and power — both renewable and non-renewable.
Throughout his career, he has managed all stages of the project lifecycle, from procurement and contract administration through to dispute resolution and avoidance, and holds particular expertise in the strategic management and resolution of complex disputes.
Piper Alderman managing partner Tony Britten-Jones welcomed Mr McLeod to the partnership, noting his experience is a value-add to the firm.
“Our national projects, infrastructure and construction team continues to go from strength to strength,” Mr Britten-Jones said.
