NRF adds 2 partners to Australian practice
The global law firm has promoted two of its Australian staff to the partnership.
Jenna Scott and Nick Rimington have been promoted to partner at Norton Rose Fulbright, effective 1 January 2023.

Ms Scott is described as a specialist insolvency and restructuring lawyer based in Brisbane, with extensive litigious experience in insolvency, regulatory, class action, banking and general commercial matters, as well as transactional restructuring.
According to a statement from NRF, Ms Scott’s clients include government regulators, intermediaries, and major Australian banks and companies.
Throughout her career, she has acted on significant and complex litigation and regulatory and insolvency matters involving substantial documentary evidence.
Meanwhile, Mr Rimington is Melbourne-based and is a commercial lawyer in NRF’s consumer markets practice group.
He specialises in supporting Australian and international brands in the franchising, retail, automotive and FMCG sectors and advises clients on a wide range of complex commercial matters, including market entry and international expansion, the acquisition and sale of businesses, establishing franchise networks, strategic commercial advice, contentious matters, and regulatory compliance.
Norton Rose Fulbright chief executive partner in Australia Alison Deitz congratulated Ms Scott and Mr Rimington on their appointments.
“The appointments of Jenna and Nick are recognition of the depth of their practices and proven ability to support clients in complex matters,” Ms Deitz said.
“Jenna is a strong performer in our national restructuring team, with a history of supporting banks, companies and governments in litigious and transactional work.
