PCL Construction wins bid for Stubbo Solar Project

Canada-headquartered company PCL Construction has been advised on its successful bid to build and maintain the new 400-megawatt Stubbo Solar Project in NSW’s central west for renewable energy company ACEN Australia.

Deal: PCL has been engaged by ACEN Australia to deliver the new project and is responsible for the detailed design, engineering and procurement, and will manage operation and maintenance services in the first two years.

ACEN Australia’s parent company has committed $800 million to the construction of the Stubbo Solar Project, with the main works expected to commence early this year, Maddocks noted.
