Sparke Helmore promotes 3

BigLaw firm Sparke Helmore has elevated three lawyers: two to special counsel and one to senior associate.

Chris Campbell (Sydney) and Shannon Steed (Brisbane) have both been promoted to special counsel, while Siddharth Laha (Canberra) is the firm’s newest senior associate. All three promotions were effective as of 1 January 2023.

Mr Campbell advises and acts for clients in planning and environment matters, particularly in the Land and Environment Court and also advises clients on a wide range of matters concerning development and local government.

Ms Steed mainly practises in the areas of worker’s compensation, public liability, property damage and debt recovery.

And Mr Laha works with in-house legal teams, client areas and other external advisers on contracting issues and disputes as well as significant procurement projects and probity requirements, including drafting contracts and tender documentation.
