Sparke Helmore names 5 new partners
National law firm Sparke Helmore has followed up its recent elevation of 28 lawyers to more senior roles with the addition of five practitioners to its partnership.
As reported yesterday (Wednesday, 19 July) by Lawyers Weekly, Sparke Helmore has promoted 11 to special counsel and 17 to senior associate. Those promotions took effect on 1 July 2023.
The new partners at Sparke Helmore are Julie Kneebone, Shelley Leembruggen, Ellie Moran, Domenic Nocera, and Sue Wilkinson.
Ms Leembruggen’s promotion takes effect on 1 October, while the other four joined the partnership on 1 July.
The news follows firm national managing partner Andrew White’s conversation with Lawyers Weekly earlier this year about Sparke Helmore’s priorities for 2023.
Speaking about the new additions to the firm’s partnership, Mr White said: “Our five new partners have consistently shown a commitment to the firm’s values, and their promotion is a testament to their hard work and remarkable achievements.
“I am confident that their contributions will continue to drive the firm’s success and growth and that they will continue to excel in their new roles.
“Their elevated positions will undoubtedly bring fresh perspectives, strategic insights, and heightened expertise to our firm, enabling us to better serve our clients and achieve new milestones together.”
