Nine new appointments have been made to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and the Administrative Review Tribunal ahead of the commencement of ART this week.
Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus KC MP has revealed nine new appointments to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) and the Administrative Review Tribunal (ART).
Six members have been appointed to the AAT and three have been appointed to the ART, forming the inaugural membership of the new federal administrative review body, which was announced in late 2022.
Each appointee was assessed by an independent assessment panel through a transparent and merit-based process.
“I congratulate each of these members on their appointment,” Dreyfus said.
The new appointees to the newly formed ART are Dr Jennifer Beard, Jodie Camden, Deborah Dinnen, Maritsa Eftimiou, Tigiilagi Eteuati, Richard Hooker, Craig Mulvey, Jack Nalpantidis, and Deborah Ziegler.
