After elevating 24 to partner last month, Pinsent Masons has promoted 12 across its Asia-Pacific offices, including one special counsel and nine senior associates.

This news follows the promotion of three new partners – Eliza Danby, Cecilia Hu, and Leanne Olden, as part of the firm’s global partner promotions, as reported by Lawyers Weekly, as well as the appointment of two special counsels at the end of January.

Melbourne planning and environment senior associate Joshua McGettigan has been promoted to special counsel.

The nine associates promoted to senior associate are Jessie Allen (construction advisory and disputes, Melbourne), Rose Ayres (projects, Sydney), Bryan Chapman (corporate, Singapore), Connor Clark (construction advisory and disputes, Singapore), Grace Fok (construction advisory and disputes, Hong Kong), Zhu Lin (litigation, regulatory and tax, Singapore), Christopher Seaman (construction advisory and disputes, Singapore), Stefania Silvestro (employment and reward, Melbourne), and Olivia Wang (finance and restructuring, Beijing).

The firm has also promoted two of its business operations professionals. Sydney-based Leola Liu has been promoted to senior pricing analyst, while Beijing-based Kitty Zhao has been promoted to business development executive.

Partner and Asia-Pacific head James Morgan-Payler congratulated the group on their new roles.

“It is fantastic to see such a talented group taking the next step in their career at Pinsent Masons. They have each been recognised for their skills, dedication and achievements, driven by their ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients,” he said.

“Our strong growth in Asia-Pacific over the past few years is in no small part due to the dedication and passion shown by our people. I look forward to seeing this group continue to grow into leaders of our firm.”
