Following the appointment of a new CEO, CFO, and CPO, legal tech company Dye & Durham has added a new managing director for the Asia-Pacific region.
After spending more than 17 years at legal tech provider Thomson Reuters, Carl Olson has joined Dye & Durham as the new managing director for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
Most recently the vice president of Asia and emerging markets at Thomson Reuters, Olson brings extensive experience in legal technology and a deep understanding of the APAC region.
This news follows a series of strategic leadership changes at the global level at Dye & Durham. George Tsivin recently assumed the role of CEO, alongside Avjit Kamboj as chief financial officer and Nikesh Patel as chief product officer.
“This appointment comes at a critical time in the company’s ongoing transformation journey, marked by a renewed focus on delivering exceptional customer value, enhancing products and strengthening local market leadership,” Tsivin said.
“We are confident that his experience will enhance our operations and strengthen our relationships with our customers. Carl understands the legal landscape and is well-positioned to guide us through the next chapter of our evolution in the APAC region.”
Olson succeeds Dennis Barnhart, who will return to Canada to take on a new role within Dye & Durham.
“We thank Dennis for his commitment and leadership,” Tsivin said.
“We look forward to his ongoing contributions in this next chapter of his journey with us.”
