Allens promotes 86

International firm Allens has promoted 86 lawyers and corporate service staff to more senior positions across the Asia-Pacific region.

Allens has elevated 72 lawyers to more senior roles, including 17 new managing associates and 55 senior associates, 84 of whom are in Australia and two in the firm’s Vietnam office.

The promotions span across the practice areas of tax, M&A and capital markets, projects, disputes and investigations, banking and finance, funds, super and financial services, real estate and development, restructuring and insolvency, technology, media and telecommunications, competition, consumer and regulatory, and employment and safety.

 
 

This announcement follows the promotion of eight new partners across Australia in a range of key practice areas, bringing the firm’s partnership to 41.7 per cent female, which Lawyers Weekly recently reported on, as well as the addition of real estate partner Carrie Rogers from Clayton Utz earlier this year.

Speaking on the latest round of promotions, managing partner Richard Spurio said the appointments reflect the firm’s ongoing commitment to investing in its future and enhancing client experiences.
