Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has promoted 47 lawyers to more senior positions across its Asia-Pacific offices.
Norton Rose Fulbright has promoted 16 lawyers to special counsel and 31 to senior associate across its Australia and Indonesia offices, effective from 1 July.
The promotions span a wide range of practice areas, including corporate M&A, litigation and disputes, restructuring, employment and labour, and environment and planning, across offices in Brisbane, Canberra, Jakarta, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney.
This follows the global law firm taking two corporate partners from Squire Patton Boggs at the start of June.
Alison Deitz, NRF’s Australia country head, said the latest round of promotions reflects both the individual excellence of the lawyers and the firm’s commitment to strengthening its service offering across the Asia-Pacific region.
“These promotions recognise the exceptional talent, commitment and impact of our people, who continue to contribute meaningfully to our clients’ success and to the strength of our firm,” Deitz said.
“This announcement also comes at an exciting moment, as Norton Rose Fulbright Australia joins with Norton Rose Fulbright LLP (Europe, Middle East and Asia) to better serve clients, expand opportunities, and streamline investment across Asia-Pacific.”
She added: “This region includes some of the fastest-growing markets in the world, and the promotions strengthen our offering in the region by deepening local knowledge. Congratulations to our newly promoted colleagues.”
