National firm Sparke Helmore has promoted 10 to special counsel and 10 to senior associate.
Twenty special counsel and senior associates have been promoted across five of Sparke Helmore’s practices.
National managing partner Andrew White said he was proud to make the announcement.
“They are all highly skilled lawyers, and their promotions reflect the hard work they have invested to achieve this career milestone,” he said.
Amani Jabein and Caitlyn Read were promoted to special counsel in the projects and government commercial team, which focuses on asset transfers, privatisations, restructures, probity, procurement and outsourcing, and tendering and contracting.
Elevated alongside them are new senior associates Cathy Wang, Simona Njaim, Vivian Nguyen and Jacqueline Vial.
In the government public and regulatory team, Molly Campbell and Samantha Liddy were promoted to special counsel, while Kah-Mun Wong was promoted to senior associate.
Campbell specialises in information law, including privacy and freedom of information, while Liddy focuses on administrative law.
From the corporate and commercial practice, Jocelyn Sutcliffe and Sarah Hovanyecz were promoted to special counsel, and Julia Salmon and Richard Howard were promoted to senior associate.
Joining the new special counsel is Isobel Lawler from the banking and finance team, who specialises in financing transactions, acquisition finance, asset finance, firm finance and business banking.
Within the insurance practices, Angel Fernandes, Elisa Lee and Zoe Fatouros were promoted to special counsel, while Anna Stamatakis, Georgia Wilts and Stephanie Miller became senior associates.
